Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue is a registered charity based in Bolton which helps cats all around the North West. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats in need. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for every cat and kitten that comes into our care. Our team of passionate volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that each cat receives the love and attention they deserve. Cat of the Week - Simba
Simba is a stunning, ginger-and-white gentleman with a heart full of love and cuddles. At 4 years old, he’s the perfect blend of playful and affectionate, and he’s looking for a forever home where he can truly shine.
He was sadly surrendered due to a change in his previous family’s circumstances – through no fault of his own. Now, Simba is ready for a fresh start with someone who will adore him as much as he deserves.
Simba’s gentle nature and affectionate soul mean he’ll fit beautifully into a loving home. If you’ve been waiting for a loyal, sweet companion, Simba could be the one.

i adopted my cat zuko from avids it was so ,good .the home visit was really good so helpful .told me everything i... needed to know about the cat i was looking to adopt ,zuko is now fully settled .my daughter adopted her cat from avids a couple of months previously and hers is doing so well.i would wholeheartedly say if your looking to adopt a cat go to avids .if you have any issues you can ring up and they will do there utmost to help you .m.Margaret Shortmanread more

We adopted our 2 boys, Milo and Lofty (Boq and Fiyero) a few days ago and can’t recommend Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue... enough.
Very comprehensive checks were done smoothly and professionally with Michelle and Eileen. Jenny made us feel very welcome when we went to meet the kittens, even offering to keep them longer, due to our impending holidays, so as not to cause them any distress by boarding them so young. We were then invited us to visit, as often as we wanted.
Would highly recommend them to anybody wanting to adopt a kitten or cat. A very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly team, passionate about what they do.

I adopted my lovely Oreo from Avid’s Angels and I couldn’t recommend them enough! From doing the adoption application... form to picking him up and taking him home, I felt informed and supported every step of the way. Michelle always had quick responses, offered great support and kept me informed. My home check was done by Eileen who was also lovely and so friendly. Jenny has also been fantastic! She was lovely when I came to meet Oreo before I was able to take him home, she was so welcoming and friendly. She made me feel like no question was ever too silly to ask. The whole of the Avid’s Angels team are amazing and are doing such great work finding these beautiful cats a great home🩵 I have never done this before and I felt all my nerves about the process where put to bed by every single team member so thank you all!!🫶 Oreo is the most fantastic boy who is just incredibly loving, well behaved and still playful. A wonderful and easy experience from start to finish. We had lost our 16yr old cat 5 weeks ago and wanted to rescue 2... more cats. Michelle and Eileen could not have been more helpful, patient and supportive as we went through the process. In less than 48 hours we had our 2 beautiful new fur babies living with us and 2 lovely characters they are too. Can’t compliment them enough for the care and compassion they have for the cats. We rehomed our beautiful Whimsy through Avid's Angels. Michelle was truly amazing from start to finish and found us the... most amazing lady to take Whimsy. There was no judgement of our situation and nothing seemed too much trouble for her.

The day has come for us to collect the lovely Charlie (Chim)🥰. Absolutely brilliant experience with this rescue... from start to finish as we had to wait until he was old enough to come to us. Brilliant communication and i could see how he was doing while we were waiting. 100% recommend this rescue if you're looking to give a cat a new home.

We adopted our little Jonesy not long ago and what can I say .. I absolutely recommend Avid's Angels! They've been very... responsive and supportive throughout the adoption process to not only ensure that their kitty would go to the perfect home, but they also matched a kitten (Jonesy) with us based on our cats' personalities. Absolutely amazing experience with Avid’s Angels. We recently adopted 2 year old Dave (we call him King Dave 😂)... and the whole process was super informative and really well organised. The people I liaised with to get the adoption process through were fantastic and you can really tell they care about finding forever homes for all the cats in their care! I would recommend them to anyone wanting to adopt!

Me and my boyfriend recently adopted Mario and Luigi, two black 5 month old kittens who we have fallen head over heels... in love with!
We cannot recommend Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue enough!
Jenny and Chloe were so so helpful when it came to the adoption process. Everything was super smooth and easy. They even allowed us to delay the kittens arriving as we were having work done in our kitchen!
You can tell they really care about what they do!

We took the beautiful Toby home with us yesterday and we absolutely adore him. Avid’s have been great from start to... finish to make sure we were the perfect match for Toby.

Adopted out first family cat today from Avid’s Angels. The process was really smooth and professional throughout. I had... the pleasure of dealing with Eileen and Jenny and both were on hand to answer any questions that I had and the communication was brilliant.
It was clear that the welfare of the animals is paramount and they made sure that the cat was suited to our family and he’s already settling in well 🐈 💗
