Meet Avid
Avid’s legacy lives on through Avids Angels, the cat rescue charity founded by Jenny, her daughter Chloe and friend, Michelle.
Avid’s life inspired them to create a charity in his name, to help cats and kittens in need, just like Avid once was.
Jenny’s experience with hand rearing Avid has given her a unique understanding of the care and attention that young kittens need. She knows how to nurture them and provide them with the love and care they need to thrive. With Avids Angels, Jenny and Chloe are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats and kittens in need, providing them with the second chance at life they deserve.
Avid’s special bond with Mr. T and the other cats in Jenny’s care showed that cats can form lifelong friendships and bonds, just like humans do. Avid’s love for Negan and the kittens that followed, despite not having milk to give, is a testament to the selflessness and compassion of cats.
The loss of Avid was a difficult time for Jenny and Chloe, but it also motivated them to create something positive in his memory. Avid’s Angels is a tribute to Avid’s life and his impact on their lives, and a way to honour his memory by helping other cats and kittens find loving homes.
