Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue Celebrates Official Charity Status in England!

We are beyond excited to share some purrfectly wonderful news with all our supporters, volunteers, and friends of felines everywhere. Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue is now officially a registered charity in England!

This monumental achievement marks a significant milestone in our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats in need. Becoming a registered charity not only validates the hard work and dedication of our team but also opens up new opportunities for us to expand our efforts and make an even greater impact on the lives of cats and kittens across the North West.

Founded with a passion for feline welfare, Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue began as a small, dedicated group of cat lovers committed to making a difference. Over the past year, we have grown into a vibrant community of volunteers and supporters, all united by the common goal of providing a safe haven for abandoned, stray, and vulnerable cats, and forever homes for surrendered cats.

Our rescue efforts have seen countless success stories, from the tiniest of kittens found abandoned on the streets to senior cats needing a loving home in their twilight years. Each cat’s journey is unique, and we have been privileged to witness incredible transformations as these beautiful animals find the care and love they deserve.

Being officially recognised as a registered charity in England is more than just a title. It comes with numerous benefits that will enhance our ability to operate and grow. These include:

Our new status reassures donors, sponsors, and partners of our commitment and transparency in managing resources and providing high standards of care.

We can now apply for various grants and funding opportunities specifically available to registered charities, enabling us to undertake more ambitious projects and rescue missions.

Donations made to Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue are now eligible for Gift Aid, allowing us to maximise the impact of every contribution.

Being a registered charity strengthens our position within the community, fostering greater collaboration and support from local businesses, councils, and fellow animal welfare organisations.

With our new charity status, the future looks brighter than ever for Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue. We have big plans in store, including expanding our rescue operations, increasing our capacity to house and care for more cats, and launching educational programs to promote responsible pet ownership and cat welfare.

As we embark on this exciting new chapter, we invite all our supporters to continue their invaluable contributions. Here are some ways you can get involved:

Join our team of dedicated volunteers and help with daily care, socialisation, transport, fundraising, and more. Your time and effort are immensely valuable.

Open your home to a cat in need by becoming a foster carer. This temporary arrangement is vital in helping us manage our resources and giving cats a better chance at finding their forever homes.

Share our mission and stories with your friends, family, and social networks. Raising awareness is key to our success.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support and dedication of our volunteers, donors, and community. We are profoundly grateful to each and every one of you who has believed in our mission and helped us reach this incredible milestone.

Together, we can continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of cats in need. Thank you for being a part of Avid’s Angels Cat Rescue and for helping us create a world where every cat is loved and cared for.
