Meet Monty 🖤🤍

Monty is a handsome 7-year-old black & white domestic semi–long-haired gentleman looking for his forever loving home.

He’s a friendly, inquisitive boy with a playful streak and a clever mind, especially when treats are involved! Monty loves a challenge and is particularly proud of his ability to open tubs of Dreamies. Food is definitely the way to his heart, and he’ll happily shadow you at mealtimes to make sure you don’t forget.

Monty enjoys human company and likes to be nearby, offering affectionate head bumps and soaking up plenty of strokes. While he’s not a lap cat, he loves sharing space and will happily relax close to you. He sleeps wherever he feels most comfortable (usually on the sofa or bed) and tends to ignore fancy cat beds in favour of his own chosen spots.

Although not much of a hunter, Monty enjoys spending time outdoors and doesn’t wander far, making him well-suited to a home with safe outdoor access. He likes toys such as string, scrunchy balls and mouse toys, though he’s a little less energetic now he’s older and prefers a relaxed play style.

Monty is amazing with children of all ages. He’s gentle and sensible, and if things get a bit noisy he’ll simply move himself somewhere quieter. Loud bangs and sudden noises are really his only dislikes.

He gets along well with other cats but has never lived with a dog, so he’s looking for a dog-free home. He uses an open litter tray, isn’t fussy about litter, and is currently used to clumping litter. His favourite foods are Whiskas wet food and Go-Cat biscuits.

Monty would suit a calm, loving home where he can enjoy companionship, routine, and a cosy place to nap – with plenty of meals, of course!
