Meet Luca 🖤

Luca is a stunning 2-year-old black cat with the softest heart to match. He came into rescue through no fault of his own due to his owner moving house, and he’s now thriving in foster care with one of our lovely fosterers, where he’s living happily alongside another cat.

Luca is the definition of a gentle giant. He was very shy to begin with and took three weeks to fully come out of his shell, but once he feels safe, wow! He becomes the cuddliest, most loving cat you could ever hope to meet. When Luca chooses you, he really chooses you, and he won’t leave your side.

He can live with other cats, but they would need to be calm and placid as Luca is very gentle and could easily be bullied. He has also lived successfully with a dog in the past, showing just how adaptable he can be in the right environment.

Luca loves food (and we mean loves it – he will eat anything!) and is very playful with lots of energy. Feather toys are his absolute favourite, especially anything he can bunny kick, and he enjoys zooming around with his feline friend Boba. Despite his playful side, he’s not interested in cat beds or cat trees; Luca is a true lap cat. He wants to be on or near you at all times and loves snuggling up in bed for cuddles.
