🐾 Lenny – cheeky chappy who loves belly rubs! 🐾

Lenny is a handsome male looking for his forever home. Still with his current owner, this charming boy is indoor-only, fully litter trained (prefers wood pellet cat litter), vaccinated, microchipped and neutered; ready to settle straight into family life.

Lenny is being rehomed through no fault of his own. His owner has had him since he was just 13 weeks old and cares deeply for him, making this a very difficult decision.

Unfortunately, despite over a year of trying, Lenny and the resident dog are no longer getting along. The dog (a terrier) has begun to see Lenny as prey and treats him like part of a game, creating an unsafe and stressful environment for him. While Lenny himself is fine with dogs, the situation has not improved, and his owner wants to ensure he can live somewhere he feels safe, relaxed, and loved.

💖 Personality & quirks

Lenny is the perfect mix of loving, cuddly, and playful. Once he gets to know you, he’s incredibly affectionate, so expect plenty of belly rub requests and sweet little kisses! He can be a bit shy at first, especially with strangers, but it doesn’t take long before he’s curled up beside you asking for attention.

He’s also got a wonderfully cheeky side… especially when it comes to snacks! Leave a packet of crisps unattended and you may find Lenny helping himself (his favourite being Quavers!)

This playful boy loves:

* Zooming around the house (his famous “Mexican wave” floor runs!)

* Watching birds from the window

* Playing with children’s toys (remote control cars are a firm favourite!)

* Sitting politely for treats (yes, he really does!)

🛁 Unique habits

Lenny has a hilarious love for water… well, sort of! He enjoys walking along the edge of the bath while someone is in it and will happily supervise your bath or shower routine.

* Can live with young children under 5

* Able to live with a small, calm dog with low prey drive

* Lenny hasn’t lived with another cat before

He would suit a loving home where he can build confidence at his own pace and enjoy lots of affection and play.

🍽️ Routine

* Dry food for breakfast (Asda own brand)

* Felix wet food (meat pouches) at teatime x3

* Treats for supper (pocket-type treats such as Dreamies, sticks and Lick-e-licks)

🚗 Vet visits

Lenny isn’t a fan of travelling in his cat carrier, but once at the vets he is calm, co-operative and very well behaved.

Lenny is being rehomed on a direct home-to-home basis. His successful adopter would need to collect him from the Hindley area of Wigan.
