Beautiful Clara is an 8-year-old tuxedo girl who is searching for a peaceful forever home where she can finally put her paws up and enjoy life at her own pace.

Due to the sad circumstances in which Clara came into our care, we aren’t entirely sure of her previous lifestyle. Because of this, she may be suited to either an indoor-only home or one with access to a safe outdoor space where she can explore and relax when she chooses.

Clara is looking for a calm and understanding home where she can be the only pet. She cannot live with other cats or dogs and would be happiest in either an older person’s home or a quiet family environment with older children who will respect her need for space while she settles in.

At first, Clara may take a little time to trust, but once she knows she is safe and loved, she rewards that patience with plenty of affection. Beneath her gentle exterior is a loving girl just waiting for someone special to give her a second chance.
