A Little Bit About Me

Meet Nina, our beautiful, friendly little girl. Nina was surrendered through no fault of her own and this stunning girl is now searching for her forever home.

Nina loves affection and cuddles and could potentially be a lap cat, given time. When Nina first went to our lovely fosterer, she was very scared initially and hid herself away, but she was willing to be picked up, cuddled and sat with on the sofa to make her feel safe. The longer Nina has been with her fosterer, the more she has started to come out of her shell. Nina will lie on the sofa with her fosterer all day, but on her own terms. You can pick her up and give cuddles and kisses, and she will love it and purr, but sometimes she will then run off back to her bed, or she will choose to stay with you.

Ideally, Nina would be suited to living with a family and we would suggest that any children in the home are around the age of 7 years upwards. Nina would benefit from an active home environment and a family who will play with her. She definitely has a mischievous streak! She loves to play, and catnip spray will encourage her if you spray it on the scratch post and her toys. If you spray it on the sofa, she will come and sleep there with you.

Nina’s previous owner used to take her out on a harness in the garden, which she loves, so maybe she could get used to going outdoors eventually. She also enjoys sitting on the windowsill to be nosy, and likes to hide behind the blinds!

Nina has not lived with another cat before and has not been tested around dogs, but maybe with slow introductions she could learn to accept a small calm dog.

Completely litter trained, Nina will come with her own food bowls and water dispenser. She is used to eating Purina biscuits and pouches at the moment, which is what her previous owner brought with her.

Nina really is a lovely cat, and is no bother at all. She is quite a small lady and will make a great hot water bottle for your feet in winter as she likes to cuddle up to them.
